Coeliac friendly locations

Hi all, my 13 year old is coeliac and I'm struggling to find a campsite or hotel in probably Italy, Spain/Balearics, France that has a restaurant on site that caters for coeliacs (plus ideally close to beach & sports activities).
Any recommendations would be amazing.

There is a FB group called Coeliacs Eat Abroad , I’d ask on there .

I live in Italy, it's famously very very coeliac friendly.

I can’t help with any specifics but echo that Italy is amazing. Every restaurant I’ve been to will do gf pizza, pasta, etc, even tiramisu. France is not as good, probably a bit worse than the U.K. ime.

I'd heard that Italy was amazing, and went to Sardinia - it was terrible!

I had a poor experience in Italy too, the hotel we stayed at made errors with my meal on two occasions and had only one dessert that was suitable.

I found most places didn’t cater for gluten free at all. We found one place that had some options and an ice cream shop that offered a gluten free cone.

I actually found Disneyworld in Florida excellent and such a wide choice, but appreciate you are looking for a European destination.

Hmm, I’ve never stayed in a hotel there so basing my opinion on restaurants in towns. Not sure if that makes a difference

Just back from Tenerife and gf options were available clearly marked. Cruises tend to be excellent too

I know someone with a severe dairy allergy and she had a very good experience with a cruise
