My DS is going on a school trip to New York for 5 days. Does anyone have any advice on what’s best money wise while he’s there?
Take cash or use a card?
He has his own child bank account that his pocket money and savings go into which has a debit card - should he use this while there?
I’ve been looking online and can see that there are pre-paid cards that you can get but as I’ve not used one, not sure if they are worth getting. If you use one of these cards, can you transfer the money back to your UK bank account if there is any money left on it when you return home?
