...with a 2 year old for 3 nights.

Any suggestions?

Barcelona would be good. Weather not too hot or cold, easy to get around and little one might enjoy the beach. Just check what is open or closed on Easter weekend if you are going then.

Why a city break with a 2 year old? That’s hard work.

Why not a forest break or a beach break ~ although at Easter weather won’t be good. Dutch Center Parcs are great.

If you’re determined on city, Porto has great beaches a bus ride away.

We spent a while over new year looking for somewhere at Easter... we gave up in the end as it seems most of Europe shuts for most of the weekend!

I have a 2 year old. I love city breaks. I went on 2 last year but left the 2 year old at-home with the husband.

I have a city break planned for the end of April 2024. Again DD is not coming.

If it's a family trip over a long weekend, as someone else said, opt for countryside/lakes/beach instead.

I think city breaks with a two year old are a great buggy aged trip option. I would not waste valuable art gallery and museum time going to a beach in the spring.

Italy is good, Florence is good plenty of ice cream opportunities. The only thing I’d worry about is what’s open etc if it’s over Easter weekend.

I like Porto, but re the beach - the sea is freezing there in the summer
