Best Hotel in Singapore

Stopping over in Singapore for 3 nights (two nights on way out and one on way back). We're happy to blow the budget a bit on somewhere amazing for the first 2 nights but wondering if the likes of Marina Bay Sands are worth it? Will be 2 adults and a 4 year old and we'd like to be close to the Gardens by the Bay. Recommendations gratefully received. Thanks!

The Shangri-La is perfectly nice but it's not as close to Orchard as you might think and walking in Singapore can be quite tiring due to the heat and humidity. The Four Seasons is better located, it looks like it might have been renovated since we last went there - the pics look very nice. The St Regis is great too, which is nearby.

Crowne Plaza at the airport is very convenient - we stayed there for a one night stopover and found it to be to a good standard.

@agoodfriendofthethree thank you, I think that's the reassurance I need 😂 I think some charms are lost on four year olds anyway!

MBS is much tge same as any contemporary modern hotel inside. You can go for lunch and dinner fir the roof top experience ..you dont need to stay. If you do book it check in advance sbout access to the inginity pool. Theur covid rules meant you had to book 1 hour slots...not sure this is still a thing.
Raffles is something else...completely different and more classic. Not something easy to find elsewhere. Personally id pick raffels having done both before but you wouldnt go wrong with either tbh.

The Crowne Plaza is great for a night stopover. Have done it a few times. So convenient and pool is lovely and stays open quite late. Four Seasons and Manadarin Oriental also lovely with super service, especially Four Seasons.
