Passport help

I’m applying for 1st passports for my two girls and need to get their photos verified. Trouble is that whilst I know people who work in the recognised professions and have known them for more than 2 years, they don’t have a valid passport so I don’t think they can countersign? can’t think of anyone else who is on the list of recognised professions that I’ve known for two years that isn’t related to me and who has a valid passport. Does anyone know what I can do? It’s the valid passport part that seems to be causing the problem-nobody seems to have one!

So, who else do you know with similar sorts of jobs or community standing to those without passports?

Thank you! Will have a think. I know a few others but nobody really fits all the criteria: my bil is a teacher and a has a passport but is related so he can’t sign. The people I work with I haven’t known long enough. Friends don’t have passports and never see the neighbours so don’t really want to ask them. Nightmare! Will have to have another think!
