FAA approved car seats for use on board long haul flight

I have trawled the net in search of a definitive list of car seats that can be used on board a long haul flight.

I have a maxi cosi Priori XP. Can anyone give me advice on what to do, I am happy to get My daughter a seat of her own as she is a good 13kg at 10 months but would be even happier for her to be able to have her familiar car seat to snooze in as opposed to mums lap. She is very tall and out grew the basinette at 6 months.

I would be grateful for any tips.

I would look at the individual airline guides tbh, they will tell you which car seats can be used.

I know they have to be forward-facing but that doesn't help very much really, does it!
