Nice family resort on Côte d'Azur

Hello, I'm looking for a lovely family resort for this summer please...ideally a 2 bed apartment or some sort of dwelling. My kids are 11 and 14, and younger one has ADHD so if we are going away I need to get it right - he needs to be run ragged and make pals if possible! My husband needs a good bed so camping is not ideal unfortunately. I think we want the social side of a campsite with the luxury of decent accommodation, so I know that is a big ask! Any ideas please? Budget is decent depending on the right place. Thanks

I've stayed at Villefranche Sur Mer and that was lovely and easy to get to other places by train or bus. We rented an apartment I think it was with VRBO.

I just came back from that area a few weeks ago.

It's just so beautiful and I would like to go back in May. I'm a single female traveller, so I'm not sure about specifically family friendly places, but I stayed in a place called Les Arcs, which was a lovely village a bit further inland, but only 30 mins from the actual coast. The road from Nice Airport was so straightforward. It's a lovely village with vineyards and all facilities.

I'm hoping to go back and stay near Cannes on the coast next time, as I want to be closer to the sea. A similar set up to you (just a small apartment for myself) for a couple of weeks in May, so if you don't mind, I am following your answers with interest..... It's simply stunning there, so sunny and so many coastal places to explore and transport is really easy from Nice Airport. Trains are great too, and not to expensive, reliable. Oh to be back there! Have a wonderful time.

When I was there in December, I swam in a village called La Port de la Figueirette , which was so lovely. The road along to there from Crique de l'Aiguille is just one of the most beautiful roads. Sea, and the Alpes in the background. Just stunning.

When are you thinking of going and for how long?

Unfortunately hotel resorts with waterparks etc just don't seem to exist on the Cote d'Azur but my SIL loves this place in Frejus. You don't have to have a caravan they have lodges and chalets. Plenty to do there to run your little one ragged! Also easy to get the train up or down to coast to Cannes, Monaco etc. The Cote d'Azur is one of my favourite places in the world, as PP said it's so beautiful!

We’ve also stayed at Praries de la Mer. V nice. Last week of hols better value as French kids go back to school.
We had a mobile couple of rows from beach and it was great.
Various operators have mobiles there too.

We love Eurocamp, as it's so family friendly and safe for the kids, with activities included. We went to Argeles sur Mer, where we flew to Perpignan and then got a cab. Didn't need a car while we were there.
