Honeymoon Destination Help?!

We’re getting married next August, Just a very small intimate wedding in a small castle in the uk.
However, We want a lavish Honeymoon. Ideally we’d be going away for 10-14 days. Somewhere hot with a beach but also somewhere we can walk around and see markets etc. We want something big so not thinking our usual Spain Greece Italy.
£5k ish budget. Thanks in advance :)

Have you considered Central/ South America? Some beautiful spots, amazing culture, food, etc...

I would recommend somewhere near Cancun in Mexico. So many lovely hotels, amazing beaches and lots to see and do if you want it. Great weather, I went in August and had some short showers but generally baking and sunny.
