try e bay got my ds lovely pair on there

what about the adjustable trousers?

Dd pants always used to be slipping off so I ended up always buying her the ones with the adjustable elastic inside.

Definitely - my nephew wears them all the time (with a neckscarf too - very hillbilly)

Don't know where SIL got them though, will ask

thank you, have tried adjustable trousers- no joy. She has a pot belly (same shape as her mother was hence the family nickname) and we have to do trousers underneath it! Will try ebay

ah, she got them in a French children's shop called Orchestra

so that's not much help, sorry

I had this problem with my skinny ds1 and managed to get him some "snake belts" off the internet, these are stretchy belts that are adjustable and link together in the front, just needed to make sure all his trousers had belt loops. I've since seen some very nice patterned ones in Next. Good luck!

h and m , old fashioned haberdashery type shops, factory stores/pound shops, Du Pareil au Meme

yep we have an adjustable belt from next, ds has had it since he was 1, is now 3 and still lots of room left in it.
