Looking at Duinrell for August. Probably the Eurocamp site.

Is 14 weeks too long? Would we be better doing a week and then a week somewhere else?

I would do a week and twin it with one of the Dutch CPs, or have a look at Roompot.com

There is loads to do onsite.

Other suggestions include
Day trips to Amsterdam and The Hague
Hire bikes and cycle to beach
Leiden which is lovely and has good museums and is an easy cycle ride

So 2 weeks is fine as can mix up days on-site and days doing trips

Also it is within easy walking distance of the village Wasssenaar which has good cafes and restaurants.

We’ve been a couple of times and found a week was enough. It is a great location but a bit hectic on site. We booked direct for free pool access. You have to pay for the pool if you book through Eurocamp.

We cycled everywhere last time including to a station to go into Amsterdam. Really enjoyed it.

14 weeks is really long!!!

We used it as a base to explore the area. Amsterdam is only an hours drive away. There’s beaches and cycle paths nearby, plus lots of other towns and villages.

Did anyone hire a car from airport to use when there please?

We're here at the moment for a week, we spent today at the theme park and water park. The children all want to do both again. We have a range of ages (from 1-14) and there's something for everyone onsite. It's very very quiet though, so I don't know if it would be a bit much in summer.

We have trips planned to Amsterdam and keukenhof, as well as the beach. Wassaneer is lovely (about a 10 minute walk) and the ice cream parlour and pancake house are must tries! We will definitely run out of time staying for just a week!
