Flight prices expensive

Looks like I am gonna miss a holiday abroad this year! We normally Airbnb and get cheap flights but they are over £450 each this year to go to Spain. Only paid £300 last year for the same dates and same airline. Booked this time last year.

I understand why but do feel a little bit gutted that I can't afford it. I am a teacher and desperately need one!! Need something for July when I am burnt out! 👀
Sigh...

We need to go to Italy for a wedding next year and the prices are similarly high not sure how long I can play chicken!

Are you set on the location and exact dates? Skyscanner is helpful for finding the cheapest options. You can enter "Spain" as the destination and it will give you pricing options for all Spanish destinations, or you can search across a whole month.

Was also going to suggest Google flights - you can see immediately how changing the date by a day or more could make it cheaper. Good luck!
