TUI Cruises

Just wondered if anyone has been in a TUI (Marella) cruise and what your feedback would be?

Yes we have done 2 Marella cruises, we have also done most of the major cruise lines They are good value for money as with Marella it’s all inclusive so drinks are factored in so unlike some other cruises there’s no big shock of a bar bill at the end!
My friend went on Explorer and didn’t think it was the best ship, but we liked the two Discovery ships there not as flashy as some of the bigger American lines. I would say it’s mainly UK people on them although we did meet some Canadians! If you do a fly cruise with the bigger lines you’ll hear all languages from passengers so makes you feel more on holiday! But that aside we have enjoyed them.

We did a Med. cruise a few years ago. We didn't realise that Marella was Tui, or we'd never have booked. They are cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Tours were very badly organised. Food was poor, we sent back 4 dinners out of seven. The noise from the entertainment areas was supposed to stop at a certain time, but didn't & disturbed us. (We did get a small refund, but would have preferred better sleep.)
Final straw was D&V on the airplane home. All food & drink I'd had was either from the ship or the TUI airplane. They refused to accept responsibility.

Love Marella cruises. Great value all inclusive, good food with plenty of choice, lots of areas to chill onboard if you don't like the entertainment.
Would thoroughly recommend (and I'm very fussy!)

Wed or do their tours though - prefer to our own thing. P.S. - their staff onboard are amazing, second to non.
