Campsite in Europe no car & walkable to a town recommendations

Hi,

looking at holidays for summer, would be with two under 3. Went to France recently and drove from NW on ferry etc and stayed near La Rochelle at a Sandaya. Campsite was fab and wouldn’t mind going back but want to try somewhere different, the bonus was the pool and mini zoo but had to drive to get to a shop or anywhere.

Any recommendations for a campsite in Europe which has the below? We would drive if absolutely required but with 2under3 might add a little more stress than just flying which we’ve done so wouldn’t go any further into France than La Rochelle etc.

near a main airport so can fly from U.K. - would tackle how to get to campsite afterwards
big pool with toddler area, some covered in case of bad weather
near a beach or has playgrounds, if they had soft play then added bonus
near a village to walk into to break up the days, ideally with a good supermarket though I know can get basics from campsite shop

Thank you.

Duinrell

Another vote for Duinrell. Not cheap but ticks all your boxes and more. You can hire bikes and cycle to the beach about 4km away. Loads of beautiful towns within east reach. Only downside is weather similar to UK South East so might not be warm
and sunny.

Thank you @Forgottenmyphone @MojoDojoCasaHouse it’s definitely on the list for future but I’m not sure we’ll make the most of it with the cost with having two young ones plus we’ll be needing to go Early summer / late spring.

In that case, Bella Italia would be more suitable

La Sirene/Hippocampe or La Chappele is shorter walk to town. Nearest airport is Beziers or Carcassonne/Perpignan bit further

Check out the campsites by Venice in Italy. We went to marina de venizia. We stayed near other brits who flew and took a taxi to the campsite. It's on the beach and lots of pools, shops plus restaurant.

We were there a week and didn't feel the need to go to the nearest town but there is a bus?

Plus you can get to the port easily for Venice to look round.

And there is a soft play on the park plus playground etc. soft play costs a couple of euros.

Les Charmettes, La Palmyre is fab

Bella Italia and Union Lido easy without a car. Flying to Beziers (or train to Agde) La Carabasse in Vias has everything on the doorstep including mini golf and a huge fun fair. 5 mins to beach, shops, restaurants and Canal Du Midi. Eurocamp do Club Farret which is nearer still to the beach, but I haven't stayed there.
