Whats the best anti mozzie cream/spray for DS - nearly 2?

Off to Syria in April....its already hotter than usual for this time of year so I reckon the little buggers will be out in force!

Advice much appreciated!

Btw - we have a mossie net for him, but not sure he will like it over the travel cot - worried he will pull it off and get it wrapped around him - bit dangerous iyswim?

I wouldnt be that happy using any of the lotions tbh - they are horrible imo. (but then ds has eczema, might be ok without eczema)
there are lots of things you can do - like covering limbs around dusk, wear dark colours (or is it light ones, I get confused!).
As for the net, can you weight it so he cant pull it up, and suspend it high above his cot so he cant pull it down?
