Has anyone has been in the last year or two and able to share rough costs with me? I’m panicking now at all the hidden fees (taxes, resort fees, tips) and costs of eating out that I’ve seen quoted. I’m supposed to be paying the full balance soon but wonder if it’s now totally out of my budget. We are going for 6 nights. Help!

You'll be looking at about $300 for your resort fees, but the rest of it you can be a bit savvy about. Go for the Shuttle Bus from the airport rather than grabbing a cab. You don't have to eat at the swish restaurants at the hotels on the strip. There's some good but cheaper eateries around. Sometimes I would just grab a sandwich from CVS for my lunch as I didn't fancy anything particularly substantial. If you're having a little flutter in the Casino's then drinks are free but for a couple of dollars tip for the good people bringing you the beverages. Keep an eye out for people handing out flyers with deals on for shows or buffets, that type of thing.

I was there at Easter, the US is very expensive now. However you can eat cheaply or spend a lot.

If you go on youtube look up Travel Ruby, she's got loads of videos that have lots of great tips and information including how to eat cheaply. Someone recommended it on here when I was planning my trip and it was a great help.
