Warm at Easter

Thinking of going abroad at Easter. For a week in the sun somewhere. Never been this time of year before. Any recommendations under £2.5k? Thanks. 2 adults, 2 teenagers

You will struggle with this budget.

We went to Tenerife, South Coast, and it was warm enough to be in the pool but fresh in the morning and evening, so it's layers.

You need to be careful that the hotel has a heated pool in April, otherwise it will be freezing.

Greece, Spain and Southern Italy will still be cooler. Cyprus may work but only at the coast, it can be colder in the middle mountain region.

Guaranteed warm weather is the Caribbean, we went twice as our main annual holiday so the budget was higher.

We had a lovely break in Taroudant, Morrocco over Easter at the hotel Dar Zitoune.
Perfect location for teens, hotel organised day trips to mountains, market, quad biking and surf beaches. Booked EasyJet flights and was the best value holiday we've ever had. Perfect weather too.

Easter is in March next year, isn’t it?

Your options will be limited with your budget, but your best bet is an apartment in the Canaries.

Lanzarote? It was hot last year when I went in April

Depends on how sunny/warm you are thinking . Have been to southern Spain a couple of times, and also Portugal and Sorrento many years ago. All occasions have had warm weather in the daytime, warm enough to sunbathe at times . But chilly in the morning and evening - and I wouldn't brave swimming - although my teenage DS did - and I recall swimming myself on the Portugal / Sorrento holidays in my teens .

Came on to say Morrocco or Cape Verde - Morrocco is cheaper but still lovely!

Put in last week of March with a 15 and 17 year old. All inclusive. £2600 and 4 star.

Another vote for Morocco weather wise

Thanks for recommendations. I don't want it baking. Just warm enough to be pleasant, swim and sit out in it really.

Would Tunisia also be recommended?

Following also considering a break then - having just looked at the weather in Palma today which is sunny and 19 C! I too wouldn't mind if it was no higher than 23

Fly Wizz Air to somewhere in Europe then on to Abu Dhabi. Definitely warm then.
