I was hoping to activate the MN hivemind, as family summer holidays are new to us!
Can anyone offer their recommendations PLEASE? It's all so overwhelming.
It will be over the school summer holidays and will ideally be hot (but perhaps not too hot!)
Family of three, with one 6 year old son. We live in London so can fly or drive easily.
Last year we went to Centre Parcs Bois Aux Daims which was great, and we loved having activities to keep us (our son!) busy. However, we would like a two week break with perhaps a bit more variety...
Maybe we could do one week in two places?
Budget max would be £5k MAX I think.
No fussed on location but not too far away I suppose... no one loves a long flight!
Just if anyone has any recommendations... I'm not looking for a travel agent level of service when we're all in our pyjamas and mainlining Baileys.
