Holiday in March - ideas?

I need to take some holiday before the end of March. I want to avoid just taking it and staying at home. Where can I go and what can I do? I will be alone. I am totally out of inspiration! I have a week.

Any ideas?

I’d go walking in the south of France.
Or a few days in Pompei, then Rome (we did that in October, had a brilliant time).
