Warmth at easter

Is there anywhere within a reasonable distance other than Canaries or Dubai that is guaranteed good Easter weather?

If not can you pls recommend me somewhere nice in the Canaries.
We have been to the Abama in Tenerife and were not blown away and also the Yaiza in Lanzarote and felt pretty much the same.
Hotels themselves ok but not huge and the resorts themselves were just dull and a bit bleak really.
Is Fuertaventura any better? Any recommendations for elsewhere?

When you say you weren't blown away, what do you want? All inclusive 5 star or quaint and tourist-free? And how hot is the right hot for you?

I've had lovely weather in Turkey in April, beautiful 5 star all inclusive. It wasn't boiling hot, but nicely warm and sunny (ie sun bathe on the beach in the day temperature)

We wanted a good variety of nice restaurants within the hotel as venturing out is a bit disappointing in Tenerife plus plenty of activities and space but the Abama felt unfriendly and a bit try hard- stuffy even.
Have preferred the IKos style of resorts more.

Hadnt considered Turkey for years after its problems and wonder how I’d feel venturing that way at present.

Is it for a family and if so what ages. And what is your budget?

Mogan in Gran Canaria is beautiful as is Meloneras and weather at Easter is usually fab. I can suggest actual hotels if you give a better idea of what you're looking for.

I went to Cyprus for Easter and it was amazing weather and so lovely. Plus the food was great and you can hire a car, perfect!

We went to Morocco for Easter this year and had the most amazing time and the weather was gorgeous. We stopped at Essaouria by the coast, Marrakech and did some exploring around the Atlas mountains and had some time at amazing 5* glamping in the Sahara desert.

Thanks all this is helpful
no budget really although not totally unlimited!

Older teens
Looking for a variety of places of eat of good quality and variation and happy if this is within the same hotel/complex

Decent Gym a must, few activities eg golf or putting range and pool table etc but not fussed about the beach much other than maybe some watersports

Somewhere to run/cycle - the Abama was basically on a dual carriageway and the whole report on a huge hill so couldn’t even do laps of the hotel.

Bonus if a couple of good places to get a cab to for sightseeing etc but the main point of it is a restful break from work and school

Check out the Lopesan Costa Meloneras resort hotel and the H10 Meloneras Hotel. Although you can do full board and AI I would stick to B&B and enjoy eating out in the nearby restaurants instead. So many to choose from it would be a shame to miss out.

Or the Cordial Mogan Playa or H10 hotels in Mogan although Mogan might be a bit too quiet with teens.

I recommend Mogan or Puerto Rico. We were there last Easter and it was 30degrees. I think Puerto Rico is the most southernly canary resort, and as it's built into the rock keeps the heat. Not as windy as lanzarote and fuerteventura.
