Xmas - hot/cold and dog friendly

Pre-2020 we always alternated xmas between being here and away. Done cottages in Scotland and canaries etc.

Would like to restart but now have a dog to add to the mix. Scotland obviously still an option but also seeking other options for cold and snowy and warm and sunny destinations, please.

Sorry, I don’t understand- are you wanting to take your dog with you? how will you take your dog to a hot and sunny destination?

Happy to drive. Not sure where is feasible. Southern Spain? South of France?

We were in Barcelona a couple of years ago between Christmas and New Year and it was lovely weather , not sunbathing but low 20’s

I imagine temps in south of France would be similar
