Easter recommendations for non-freezing swimming pools

Merry Christmas!

Last year we went away to Ibiza at easter time, and although the weather was perfect, the swimming pool was too cold for our small children as it was unheated (and I read that even if there are outdoor heated pools, they’re often not turned on because it’s sunny and why waste the energy).

Would Greece or Croatia be better in the easter break? Would it be hotter at easter time?

I have the same question! What was the air temp in Ibiza? I think with air temp 20+ a non heated pool is ok in afternoon but not morning.

@RufflesPlus the weather for just holidaying, lying on a sun lounger was beautiful, 20s every day, and not too boiling hot for the kids. Cold-ish early morning and cold at night. I would go back if there were heated pools outside but I think those are thin on the ground. We just could not get them in the pool for love nor money, whereas when we went in July they were constantly in there.

Greece is risky weather wise at Easter, suspect Croatia is similar

Suggest Canaries or Cyprus for reliable weather but you’d still need to look for a heated pool. I know the Almyra Cyprus has one but not cheap.

Thank you, I’ll have a look at those@minipie ! I am considering maybe looking a bit further afield, like possibly Marrakech or even Sharm el Sheik… I haven’t been to Egypt but have only had good experiences in Morroco, very family friendly culture

Cyprus can be freezing at Easter as well. There was snow when I went.

Easter Sunday is 31st March next year so you’re going to have to go further afield to get warm pools tbh.
