AI Mallorca tweens - not too big

Hi all

Bit if an odd time to post this but single parent and on my own this Xmas so thought id book the summer holiday. Have done a mumsnet search already.

Looking for an AI hotel for me and 2 DC (12 and 9). Eldest has adhd and anxiety so can’t handle anything too big ( is fine with for eg iberostar lanzarote type size where we have been lots). Don’t need a beach but do need some pools and somewhere they do football ideally. Not bothered about a kids club.

Won’t have a car so if there was somewhere we could easily wander to that was nice with a couple of shops that would be a bonus, but don’t need day trips.

Budget of £3000 for the 3 of us ideally ( already have flights) unless it’s somewhere totally amazing in which case I could stretch and/or would go for 5 nights instead of 6 or 7. We usually all share one room but with 3 beds ( one usually a sofa bed)

Any suggestions would be fab!

We liked the Bahia pollensa in puerto pollensa. Nice big pool but no kids activities or slides or anything so it’s a bit calmer. Pool is quite deep which my kids liked for jumping in and out. The buffet food was good for breakfast and dinner. Nowhere for football though.

Many thanks - will take a look. They do like a slide but most seem for smaller kids now and I guess slides probably do equal bigger resort! Maybe I do need to consider something bigger and just managing DS

How about a house instead? You can eat out or do simple platter food when there but have privacy and a pool.

Thanks for the suggestion - but as I’m on my own with them I prefer to be in a hotel with some bustle around ( and also was very ill one holiday and the hotel helped me enormously so I’m always concious of this!)
