Urgent- supposed to go to Bekonscot model village today- is there any point in this rain?

Due to meet long lost friends there. We each have an under 4 and an under 1.

Don't really want to cancel but also don't want to stand around in rain all day! Is any of it under cover?

Is there anything else nearby (we are coming from Berks, they from Cambs)?

it is virtually all outside I am afraid. There is a gift shop type bit but as i remeber even eating bit is outside.
