Hi Bubbaluv

Sorry don't know details of Qantas flights but I am flying from Aus to UK next week (ooo oo we may pass each other mid air) with bub + toddler and am aiming to throw everything I need in a HUGE carry on bag. I think you should be fine with your babies carry on bag + your own, lots of room on Long Haul planes. But maybe check with the airline directly.

You can take an extra bag full of baby things as well as your own carry on bag. That includes food, nappies, toys, books, blanket.

I just want to let you in on the fact that they don't change the sheet on the bulk head cot thing. because they go up for landing the clean up crew don't know which was used and completely ignore them all. I witnessed it with my own eyes. The blanket is bagged and has been cleaned, but again - if you change onto a plane that is halfway through it's journey you may need to ask for a clean one.

Check in early and ask, ask and ask again to make sure you have the cot.
