Which are nicest? Which are not? And any other tips would be really welcome?

Spent a few fantastic days staying at Disney Hotel. Highly recommended. Great location for park, village and train station. Nice swimming pool and gardens - however, I don't recall a shallow end in swimming pool, though there were wide steps leading down to it.
Plenty of characters at breakfast and dinner, for autographs and photos.
Ds loved the buffet breakfast- especially all the pastries!

we're a family of 4, kids aged nearly 3 and nearly 7 (tho it will be too late for 'under 7 deal' as her birthday's in April and we''ll probs go after that).

Budget...wish I could afford disneyhotel but suspect can't...probs about £800...for all of us.
Definitely want on-site accommodation.

We stayed at Davy Crockett last year and to be honest they stank like Dave Crocketts crotch. Walt Disney would be turning in his grave (he is dead isn't he?.

The cabins which are wooden clad mobile homes stank of piss from the toilets. Yuckerooonie!!

we've come back from sequoia lodge a few weeks ago and it was far better than we expected - the reviews were mixed. it was worth the extra money for the pool and the location. there were characters for meet n greets every morning. we never bothered with the bus as the walk was so nice. if i had spare cash i would certainly go again
