Hi. I have a lot of airmiles I want to book somewhere all inclusive for myself and two teens, with snorkelling/ tropical fish and a really nice resort. Maybe the honeymoon style places that have bungalows out on stilts in the sea.

My priorities are:
Guaranteed beach whether in February
Affordable-ish
All inclusive
Tropical fish and beautiful beaches

Minimising jet lag where possible.

Any ideas?

@cheeseandbranston The BVIs in the Caribbean. It’s not cheap but there are vacation rentals. It’s beautiful but don’t know if reefs affected by bleaching. You can try Virgin Gorda or Tortola as a base. Then go out on boats or to beaches. USVI has good reefs too around St John.

Costa Rica is fab for snorkeling, and the weather in February is dry and very warm (high 80s F).

The Maldives is incredible for snorkelling. Try Cloud Nine Travel... they offer price matching but actually have really competitive pricing anyway so I've never needed to use it.

Egypt has the most amazing tropical fish.

Thank you so much. Costa Rica and the Maldives I think sound like the best options for my criteria.

I will look up those providers.

And thank you for the explanation on coral bleaching. The carbon footprint irony is real. But I've not flown anywhere with my kids for years, and snorting in Cornwall isn't at all the kind of experience I want for this one-off trip. But thank you.
