Have you ever had a passport interview?

Did you know all of the answers to the questions? What happens if they don't let you have a passport?

I'm really worried because we've booked to go away for a weekend, dp has never had a passport so he went to an interview, he's just come out and said he doesn't think it went very well, he didn't know the answers to some of the questions things like his mum's dob, her birthday, the age of the lady who signed his photo etc

they dont ask you anything. you just go with all your paperwork and the money.

i didnt get asked a thing

We sent off everything and I paid for it at the post office but he got called for an interview, they said he should know in about 5 days, he's just spoken to his mum and asked her some of the questions and he got more right than he thought by guessing but still worried!

you dp doesn't know his own mother's birrthday

oh right, see i needed mine quickly and they gave me an appointment for an interview. but they didnt actually ask me anything, just looked at me, looked at my driving license photo and took my money
maybe i just got lucky

He had a guess, you know what men can be like and we've been together 6 years so it's always me or one of his sisters that remind him!

They can only hold so much information I think lol!
