Majorca - fast mobile Internet for work

Hi, I'm planning to book hotel at Majorca but husband will have to do Zoom calls and wofk full time for a week.
Wifi in hotels and apartments is usually rubbish, so does anyone have experience buying sim card or mobile router providing fast mobile Internet (with no 1-year contract attached) ? Does it exist there?

Are there any alternatives like satellite internet etc?

What about a villa? You can check the broadband speed with the owner and I'd imagine it's a better environment for him to work in.

Can't he just add on roaming with his uk mobile provider?

He can do that, but roaming in giffgaff is limited to 5 Gb, and he will have a lot of zoom calls - it's simply not enough.

I don't want our choice of apartment/hotel to depend on wifi speed if we can just buy a router.

We went to Bulgaria once and had an amazing mobile router we were using all over the country.
