Last minute holiday Christmas

Hi there
What's the chance of getting a last min deal between Christmas and New year or first week of Jan for the Canaries if I wait until the week before to book it?

Doesn't seem to be any options at the moment with travel agents for package deals at this time.

Should I just book it now?

Waiting on my babies first passport which is an added risk 😅 it should be here before Christmas though

I suspect that people who go away over Christmas and New Year book well in advance and what's listed is all that's available. I don't think travel companies hold back places to then list at the last minute. At best, you might get a discount for booking last minute as they'd rather have bums on seats on planes than have empty seats but I think the days of real bargain last minute deals are probably long gone. Have you tried easyjet holidays and jet2?

I would have thought the first week in January would be a lot easier. Put your requirements into the jet2holidays or similar search functions and see what comes up.

If you're there on the evening of 5th January, that's when the Three Kings Parades happen, so something worth seeing.
