Ideas for family celebration for 10 in central England

I need inspiration on a location for a family celebration break at Easter 2024.

There will be 6 adults and 4 children (ages between 16 and 11).

The different groups will be travelling from the West Midlands, West Oxfordshire and Norfolk, so not looking at Wales/South West/Northern England etc.

It is for a special birthday celebration, and can be from 2+ nights any time between 7th and 17th April.

I feel that I am leaving it quite late to book somewhere - I keep looking online but not really finding what I'm after. I feel out of my depth booking somewhere for a special break that includes other people!

Budget can be £2-4K I guess, depending on the number of nights.

Has anyone got any suggestions of places that they've been to that might fit the bill?

I would love somewhere in the Cotswolds, but worried that might be a bit unfair on one of the groups doing all of the travel.

Ideas very welcome!

The West Midlands Safari Park has lodges within animal enclosures so you can open your curtains and literally have tigers wandering past. They are very pricey but certainly have a wow factor... could do one night there and a day in the park and then move on to a nearby hotel if you wanted longer?

How about somewhere in the Peak District like Matlock Bath or Buxton? There's plenty of Airbnb or cottage rentals in the area. Or look up the Landal sites such as Darwin Forest, they have various size cabins including some with hot tubs. There's also Center Parcs at Sherwood Forest (or Forest Holidays at Sherwood Pines). Or Center Parcs at Woburn, but that will be much closer for the family in Oxfordshire than the other two families.

Malvern Hills.

Those safari park lodges are £££ and you're also trapped there unless staff ferry you back to your car. (My SIL works there.)
