Planning a 2 week holiday in Sri Lanka for 2024. I am aware of what side of the island to stay depending on what month we go and we can be flexible on dates. What I would value is advice on where would be a good base to stay for days out to different tourist attractions, excursions, towns, cities etc. Also want to see some of the wildlife. The island is bigger than I thought so not everything will be accessible from one base but wanted to make the most of it, thanks
