Family friendly in Benidorm?

Due to a family issue we have to go to Benidorm specifically for at least a long weekend next year.
There's likely to be a whole gang of us but I'm the only one with kids (will be 8+13). Some of the adults want to stay in an adults only hotel- has anyone got any suggestions for me and ideally close to the adults one?

You dont mention where the adults one is so hard to answer. My parents/ILs have been there and the old town area sounds OK, The other area, where they all stayed, sounds grim.

I love Benidorm but without a clue as to where the others are staying, its hard to recommend anywhere. Benidorm is a big place!

We went in July and stayed in the Flamingo Oasis. It's a bit away from the strip but it was a lovely hotel.

On Avenue Alay which comes out of the marina at the southern end, there is both an adults only hotel and across the road, the Comfy Suites, apartments.

We've stayed down the coast a little at Sunset Beach Club.
Lots of space, pools and so on.
