Hi all. Looking for some opinions on theme parks. We were in Disney Paris a week ago and loved it. We really enjoyed thunder mountain and all the family interactive rides. Small work, buzz, pirates of the Caribbean., spider man, star wars, Peter pan. Cars. Ratatooee etc.

Could anyone recommend other theme parks in Europe that have similar rides to the ones above Our daughter will be 8 for our next holiday. Any advice would be much aporeciated as I'm not sure where to go. Thanks

Efteling is a good one to look at. Has a mix of rollercoasters and dark rides.

Gardaland is great and has Legoland waterpark inside to cool off in the afternoon

If you enjoyed DLP then you’ll love Orlando if the budget will stretch to it

Europa Park - they have a fabulous range of hotels, or camping and the new water park Rulantica is amazing. Food prices are reasonable in the park too. You can get cheap flights on Easyjet to Basel and Ryanair will start up again from Stansted once a week soon too.

Or hire a car and head to Tripsdrill where you can stay in the most amazing tree houses in the nature park then head into the woods for breakfast in a cozy Wood Lodge while the wolves howl for their breakfast. It's an absolutely gorgeous amusement park and really cute.

Efteling in the Netherlands. My kids prefer to DLP and they love DLP. Perfect for an 8 year old.

Another vote for Efteling. It's easy to get there and it's a lovely park. We went for a few years ago with our young kids and really enjoyed it. There is family-friendly accommodation on site in the form of apartments or cottages and there's a supermarket and restaurants in Kaatsheuvel, which is nearby.

Efteling and europark, both are amazing. Europark is the biggest in Europe and suitable for all ages but probably a bit harder to get to than the Efteling.

My son loved Port Aventura in Salou, Spain (they were there as part of their school trip earlier this year). He's a teenager but I've just had a quick look at their website and it looks like the park is suitable for all ages.

Another vote for Eftling, its a beautiful park, really need a couple of days to do it properly.
