Barcelona next week - weather - how to dress

I'm off to Barcelona next week. BBC weather is saying about 16 degrees.

I am in danger of overpacking and I only have a carry on.

Will I need my Winter coat? Should I pack lots of knitwear? Will I need a scarf?

I can barely remember what 16 degrees feels like here in the UK, let alone in Barcelona.

Someone help me!

Also can I wear black trainers out for dinner in the evening or do I need to smarten up?

It depends if you feel the cold and if you plan on doing much after dark, when it will be pretty chilly. I’d say it’s comparable to late April in London, without the rain. You won’t need a scarf.

Went in May and it rained. A lot.

I’d say a jumper and a waterproof coat. Trainers fine.
