Tenerife holiday

My partner and are are looking to go away to tenerfie over the new year.
We have been looking at Iberostar Sábila and Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa.
Has anyone been to either of these? Would you recommend?

Lanzarote is gorgeous, our favourite CI. We are visiting in January. We prefer to hire a Villa, I don’t know this particular property, where is it in Lanzarote? Our favourite location is Puerto del Carmen, but Costa Teguise, and puerto Calero are lovely, puerto calero is lovely but very, very smal,however not far from PDC, playa blanca is also nice. Lanzarote is a small island, our preference is pdc.

Sorry I'm confused. Your heading and post talk about tenerife and then you mention a hotel that sounds like its in lanzarote? which one are you interested in as these are different islands?

We stayed at The Iberostar Sabila in June this year. It was absolutely fabulous. We opted to have breakfast included and the breakfast buffet was the best a I’ve ever seen. We had a wonderful holiday. We had a sea view room which overlooked the sea in one direction and the mountains in the other direction. I can’t recommend the hotel enough.

Secrets Lanzarote Resort is in Lanzarote, so unless you're going to commute over daily I'd pick a hotel on Tenerife itself. 😆

Not stayed at either of the resorts, but all of the Canaries are very good (especially over New Year as it's still very warm) - you'll have a fab time!
