Legoland Denmark

We are looking to go to Denmark next summer and spend a couple of days at Legoland.
but when I go to the site it seems to say Legoland is closed next august. Surely this can’t be right and I’m either messing up with my search or they haven’t released tickets yet?
has anyone else booked for next summer yet?

Legoland can be done in a day. Remember when in Billund to also visit the Lego House (a whole day), Lalandia and WOW Park.

There are plenty of other things to do in Jutland. 30 mins away is Vejle - visit the Økolariet ecology centre (which takes max. 2 hours) and you could also spend time at the Bredballestrand beach which is on the north side of the fjord, near the big bridge. If you want to see the Jutland west coast then it's a good idea to head over towards Henne Strand, Vejers Strand or any of the beach areas between Esbjerg and Ringkøbing.

Look at some of the older places in Southern Denmark - Jelling (all things Viking), Ribe, Tønder, Sønderborg or Kolding (the last 2 both have castles) or head N.E. from Billund to Aarhus, Randers (see the Rainforest) or Ebeltoft and Djurs Sommerland amusement park, or Kattegatcenter aquarium at Grenaa. And then there's Silkeborg and the Lake District, where you'll also find the AQUA centre and Tollund Man in the museum ...

It’ll be not yet released

there are several other threads on legoland Billund here, worth a search.
we had a great 4 days in august visiting Legoland, Lego house (you can get a combi ticket for both), and lalandia. There is also wow park. Everything is very close.

we went at the very end of august which turned out to be not too busy as the Danes go back to school mid august.

Thanks. Everyone has been really helpful on here. We are doing 5 nights In Copenhagen then 4 in billund so will hopefully have time to do Legoland and Lego house plus other activities.
just need to decide whether to stay at lalandia, a hotel or somewhere other than billund and come for day trips. I’ll have a travel of other threads.

Hi can I ask if you managed to buy the combi ticket online or if it was available when you got there? At present no combo ticket available but all other tickets have been released? Thanks

Hi
combi tickets were def available online not sure they would be onsite tbh (Lego house def regularly sells out so you need to have a ticket in advance for that). I do recall that you could buy on either the Legoland website OR the Lego house website but def not both. So try the one you haven’t tried yet. It may be that they are not available yet. I only booked 2-3 weeks in advance.

I bought our combi ticket on the Lego house website a few weeks ago as even though it was showing on the Legoland website it would not go further than the payment stage.
