Hi All, me and DH are lucky enough to be able to plan a kid free trip over Xmas this year (abut last minute I know). We were thinking long haul to somewhere we wouldn't mind the kids not going to (they're primary school age) any recommendations? Don't mind budget or duration (as long as its within a 2 week time frame) ideally for a week or even 10 days if needed.

I'm more of a hot weather, beach, sea type of person. Dh likes sightseeing/seeing wonders of the world type person.

The weather in Phuket is perfect in December/January - warm, sunny and dry. Stunning beaches and sightseeing.

Sorry have to ask....you're going away over Christmas without your kids?

Of course, sorry, I have to admit I was thinking ooft really! (As someone who quite regularly holidays without the kids lol). Hope you have a wonderful time, I've always liked the idea of Bali which I assume would be warm then, but I gather that gets mixed reviews!!

That's alright! Wr haven't had a kid free holiday in 8 years and probably only have had a 'date night' a hand full of times. So looking forward to some 'us' time (mainly looking forward to 'me' time! Lol)
