Lapland Clothing

I'm heading off to Lapland before Christmas so I'm now sorting out clothing. I've sorted most of the base layers, gloves, snoods etc but do I need anything specific for the mid layers?

Also, what clothes are needed for the plane? Is it a normal flight temperature?

Yes, normal plane temperature.
I put tights and another top layer in before we landed. Once you put their suit on you are warm enough, with your own thermal socks and gloves.
‘It’s a different cold there, it’s dry, so it’s better.

Thanks! I'm more worried about being hot on the plane than I am about being cold when we get there

How long are you going for?

We went for a few days and got straight off plane then baggage then onto bus to hotel so didn't need to get anything extra on until we got to hotel where we got the outer suits, boots etc.

Maybe have an extra jumper in your bag?

We had an amazing time. Hope you do too!

Just wear layers on plane. Less ideally with layers to add. I wouldn’t wear tights underneath other trousers as you will likely boil

I’d recommend getting a good pair of thermal touch screen gloves so that you don’t have to take your gloves off to operate your phone. Also take a pair of waterproof ones for snow related activities!
