Passport Renewal, Nov. 2023

Looking for timings for receipt of child's passport (renewal) very recently, please. How long are they taking at the moment?
Website says 3 weeks, but hoping much less than that...

Did the online renewal tonight and old passport in the post box for pickup tomorrow.

Did the renewal and posted the expired passport last Wednesday. They received the passport last Thursday. Received an email today to say they're posting it out.

Done 2 about 2 weeks ago. Completed the online form at the weekend, returned old passports on the Monday. Had one new one through on the Thursday and one the Saturday, both children’s renewals too.

My South African based brother got his via courier within 5 days of being approved.

I just got mine in less than a week but it was an adult passport.

For anyone that comes across this and is interested, child renewal passport arrived yesterday afternoon - so 9 days after I completed the online application ( or 8 days after his old passport would have been collected from the post box).

New York here we come!!!
