I'm turning 50 next year, October, and would like a short break away with DH to celebrate. I want to stay somewhere warm and I'd like a bit of luxury given the occasion but I don't have an unlimited budget! I'm not set on a beach or city break as I'd enjoy elements of both and just can't decide what to focus my search on!
I'd love a hotel with a private pool or swim-up room, but obviously if it's a city break then I guess that's not going to be an option? I'm not keen on eating in the same place every night so would prefer B&B and have restaurants around to choose from. I don't like the beach, prefer to relax by a pool so being on a beach isn't a dealbreaker for me. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? 5 nights, prepared to pay up to 2,500 (for the accommodation, I know flights will be extra)
