Just that really - thinking we might go to this area next summer with teens (15 & 17 yo, active, one definitely has an aversion to most cultural activities!!) Any suggestions for things to do? Thanks!

Vannes itself is a beautiful town and the market is fab.

We stayed in Carnac and it is great for cycling and there are lots of gorgeous sandy beaches. You can tour in the car and visit several beaches in a day.

Visit the standing stones and walk in the forest. Nice restaurants and beach bars in Carnac too.

There was an interesting article on Sunset Sisterz Facebook page - on travelling to Valencia with teens.

Carnac has the standing stones but also beautiful beaches. The cote sauvage is a stunning hike with a natural arch, even my teens were impressed. In Vannes go eat at a nice creperie .

Branféré animal park (Le Guerno) is a great day out, even for teens. We went when they were little and again ten years later and they loved it both times. They also enjoyed the castle (Suscinio) at Sarzeau. There are lots of watersports activities, sailing, SUP, kayak etc around the area. Ours loved the surfing beach at Kerhilio/Erdeven nearer to Carnac for the waves, as well as the other calmer beaches. Vannes is a lovely town but we've only been for day trips - stayed in Carnac a few times, and in Guérande/La Baule further south.
