4/5 days on my own early April -where?

Hi
Where would you choose if it were you? I’m looking some warmth. Probably just a flop and chill as I will be busy either side of it. But I am open to suggestions.

Any recommendations? The idea of being on my own is bliss!

Thanks.

I'm currently in Malaga alone for work and would definitely visit here alone for leisure. Walked through the city at 11pm alone tonight and felt perfectly safe. Fabulous places to eat and walk, easy train down to Torremolinos or Benalmadena if you want something more beachy.

@EnglishGirlApproximately I love Malaga! I was thinking somewhere nearby but more beachy. Maybe Nerja. I don’t want to drive though.

Nerja is nice?, maybe Estepona is worth looking at too? I'm really enjoying Malaga having previously written it off as not enough to do. Its got such a lovely vibe.

Palma. Won't be v warm for definite, though. But can catch bus from airport to city from right outside airport, v easy and safe.

If you want warm and beachy, I’d suggest Paphos.

I went to Lisbon on my own back in March for a few days and absolutely loved it!

You can take in the city (which is beautiful) or take a train easily to the beach which was about 20 mins from memory.

I spent one afternoon on the boat that takes you along the river and back to get a different perspective on the city. Glass of wine and sun on my face, was fab!

Verona. Warm enough to wander around comfortably, get the train to other cities eg Venice, Modena for a day trip or two.

Port Soller, Majorca.

Oh so many fab ideas, thanks!!! If I choose Lisbon my husband will probably want to come. Hmmmm is that good or bad?!

I love walking so anywhere I can do a little of that. I know I said a flop holiday but it would be nice to have the option.

You can get a taxi from Malaga airport to Nerja for about €75 if you don't want to drive.

The Canaries, Madeira, The Azores if you want guaranteed heat and sea swimming temps at that time of the year.

La Gomera is small safe and has wonderful walking trails.
