Where to stay in Paris - Concert in La defense?

Has anyone been to a gig here? Ive done a few in Stade and stay in the same hotel, but i think it might be the wrong area/metro line.
I dont necessarily need/want to stay in La Defense, ill be with my 3 dds, grown not small, and we will want restaurants etc as we are staying a few nights.
Anyone have any suggestions of where to stay? Area or Hotel?
Thanks!

La Defense is well connected with metro ligne 1, and also the faster RER A, so you could stay anywhere that takes your fancy, tbh.

Maybe look around the more residential area of Ternes, it’s a 15 min walk from Arc du Triomphe and has some nice local restaurants. Or get a hotel or Air b&b in Rueil Malmaison, further out along the A line (4 stops from La Defense). It’s a Napoleonic town (Malmaison was Joséphine’s house and is well worth the visit). All really depends what you want to visit while you’re there.

I was just there for a concert. It's connected indeed, but there will be absolute masses of people all leaving at the same time - so if 2 hotels are an option, stay in Pullmann La Defence the concert night (just a few min walk) and then in another hotel downtown.

I went to a concert there last year. We stayed near the Bastille. Just took the metro back (on the one metro line) It was busy but really well organised. No worse than the tube.

just make sure you buy your return ticket before you go in the concert. There was a huge queue for metro tickets on the way home.

Thank you all.
I'll have a look at all those suggestions.
We were in paris for Harry styles and the organisation of getting home was superb to be fair. And the metro was free they opened it up for crowd control and they had the crowd sectioned off. I'm hoping they are as organised as its Taylor but yes we will have our tickets sorted!

I’ve stayed in la defence often for work reasons and it’s honestly not an area you’d want to spend time in on a leisure trip
