Hiya, just booked this for a family of five with three teens for next October half term, would love anyone’s experiences of the resort

We went a couple of years ago and loved it. We’ve booked to go again early next year. It’s incredibly peaceful but the best thing was the amazing patisserie available every day in the reception coffee shop! There really isn’t any down sides to this resort.

We went years ago. I've been to the Maldives four times and that is my favourite resort.

Just to add. I hope you went with the all inclusive option? If not, I’d try and upgrade before you go. It would be horrendously expensive otherwise.
We had lunch by the lagoon everyday and it was fab, super cocktails and a great light lunch menu. The Asian restaurant was lovely for the evening along with the Italian restaurant (you do have to pay a supplement here if you’re AI). I’m not a massive fan of buffets but the food on offer was good. If I had to nit pick, the spa (steam and sauna) wasn’t great but the treatments were very good. Watch out for the massive fruit bats at dusk they’re the size of red kites!
make sure you walk down to the end of the island, near the library. This spot is paradise, I’ve not experienced that level of serenity anywhere else. It’s utterly sublime.

@billycorn thank you so much, yes we have gone all-inclusive 😊
It’s our first trip to the Maldives, and we are really excited it’s so good to hear that you’ve all had good experiences there and would return

We've been there 3 times and love it. It's such a naturally beautiful island - every spot is magical. Make sure to book your restaurants before or when you arrive as some can get booked up at popular times. The only down side for us is that there is no house reef - you had to get the complimentary boat trip which is at a scheduled time. This is lovely to do but if you want to pop in and out throughout the day it's obviously not an option. Although there are still spots you can snorkel but just not the same as having a proper house reef. Enjoy!

Just wanted to say it’s our last day at Lux today and we’ve had the BEST time! Thank you for the tips. It’s really been incredible and we are already planning our return 😊
