Is Virgin Premium worth it for an over night flight?

Going to visit family in Grenada. Premium economy is £1,700 round trip. But weirdly if we flew economy out and then premium back it would be £900.
Regular economy both ways is £600.

So is it worth £300?

Definitely!

For me it’s the difference between being able to sleep and not. So I’d say worth it.

It’s more worth it for a night flight than a day flight I’d say

Yes it's worth it but I dont think Virgin is the best premium economy service.

I have trouble sleeping on all flights. Even in business, unless it's a 12 hour flight. So I'm trying to figure if it is worth it.

Have a look on YouTube, an account called the points guy (might be totally wrong name) has done a comparison of all classes on virgin. It’s shows the differences quite clearly.

I personally would upgrade for a night flight.

Yes, though Virgin has new planes snd the Premium seating isn't as generous as it was (used to be up to 21in wide, now only 18.5, just a bit more than economy). But much more leg room and food is better, plus a dedicated line at the airport.
I save my Tesco points which I can exchange for Virgin air miles to upgrade plus have a Virgin credit card.
