ok, been here... www.arranz.co.uk - very nice, clean, toys, dvds, books, close to beaches, lots to do, washing machine & tumble dryer (must for me).

But if u tell anyone, i'll have to kill you!

Also found some nice cottages in Lakes mainly thru the countrycottages/cumbrian cottages type websites.

but i guess the cottages in Lakes are irrelevant as not nr beach! (d'oh!!)

we stayed in the lovely cottage in Devon last year

Gorgeoud location and nice cottage.

Coastal Retreats at Beadnell in Northumberland

I keep recommending them but it was the very best self catering holiday I've ever had. Not cheap but worth every penny.

We stayed here for a weekend in January. 10 miles from the beach approx at Southwold. Southwold is fab.
