Cyprus recommendations?

I really fancy Cyprus with my 4 year old next summer but am a bit unsure about booking because of proximity to Israel/Gaza… I know there’s 200 miles between them but still… any thoughts? If I booked which area would you recommend? The beaches on the Ayia Napa / Protaras side look incredible but is there much else to do in that area compared to Paphos?

Ayia Napa is beautiful but it’s very clubby. Paphos is so much more family friendly and has a lot more to do. Our favourite beach is Vrysoudia which is pretty and really easy to get to.

Louis st Elias which is just above Protaras - we had a great time this summer. The food was a level above other all inclusives in the price range. We booked via BA holidays as the flight times suited, but TUI and Jet2 go there too. It's not all British visitors - maybe a third of those there in July.

Or a few years ago we stayed at Louis Paphos breeze. Similarly good food and accommodation. Rocky coastline tho.
