Malaga or Lisbon in March

Does anyone have any experience of these as city breaks with younger primary age children during the winter? We’re thinking of a long weekend.

Lisbon. So beautiful. Malaga is grotty.

Lisbon has a very old traditional castle on one of the hills children will love.

Malaga is NOT grotty, but I agree that Lisbon would be the better option with young children.

Malaga IS a grotty resort as opposed to a beautiful capital city.

I vote Lisbon as it's less dependent on warm weather.

Malaga is so far from a grotty resort! It's a lovely little city.
In March, I'd say probably Lisbon. But Malaga is also well worth a visit.

Seville!! Not Malaga. Lisbon is a good shout too. Barcelona would be great, and better than Malaga.

Malaga is NOT a resort, the pp must be confusing it with the Brits abroad resorts down the coast, that you fly into Malaga airport for.

So get the bus or train from the airport, arrive in this beautiful city and enjoy. I prefer Malaga to Lisbon (too many hills), but Lisbon is brilliant too, it is a personal preference that's all.
