Anyone been? If so, do you recommend it? Where is good to stay with kids? Bit worried it won't be that hot and it's a lot of money to spend if you're not going to enjoy yourself.

Do not go to the North as it can be cloudy at any time New Year
In the South it will only be sunny
10 am to 4pm and it can be very
Windy with sandstorms
You would not be sure of a tan
Until Feb

I loved there for 7 years in the south!

It won't be cold but don't go expecting wall to wall 20° sunshine as it's also winter there too. It's probably around 15-18° on average if it's cloudy but can also be sunny and 20°

You will be able to swim and go to beach but I would take leggings and jumpers for after a swim!

But importantly it'll depend on when you go. Remember it's a Spanish country so they celebrate Kings Day on 6th Jan. it's amazing and there is so much to do so if you can go later I would.

Personally I'd say go and make it a holiday. You're pretty much guaranteed better weather than we will have here 🤣

We always visited Lanzarote in Dec or Feb half term, always had good weather. Canaries are 365 destinations.
