Carribean cruise in January / all inclusive holiday

I'm thinking about saving up and going away in January 2025 and not having a summer holiday in 2024, I have never been away abroad in January but I want to try something new!
What is your experience of going away then?
Is a cruise a good option with Family ( teenagers and younger ones) or an all inclusive?
Do you have any recommendations?

A cruise is perfect with children/teens as you get to see lots of places without any hassle and the ships have loads to do on board to keep everyone happy. Nobody in my family has ever been board on a cruise ship!
Going away in January for a bit of winter sun, rest and relaxation is the perfect tonic after a stressful Christmas BUT make sure you leave enough time to prepare. Either get really organised and do most of your holiday prep before the run up to Christmas, or leave enough time after Christmas before you depart. Trust me, I’ve learnt the hard way - I’ve been scrabbling around last minute for visas, adapter plugs, currency exchange etc….because I got so taken over by Christmas!

We normally book with Iglu Cruise. We’ve done the Caribbean with Royal Caribbean and MSC, 11 nights and 9 nights respectively.
